Alan Beck about Honor Flight

Alan Beck, President/General Manager of Illini Radio Group, was our presenter today. He has been raising money to send 75 veterans on a flight that leaves Oct 18, 2011 to see the war memorials and give them the celebration they well deserve.
Honor Flight is a national non-profit organization created to honor Veterans for their sacrifices. The local Chapter is the Central Illinois Honor Flight, Coordinated by the radio Stations of the Illini Radio Group.
They have already raised enough money for 2 flights this year and now they are only 15K away from raising enough to send a flight next Oct, 2012.
